Our Vision

As active members of the community, The IMPACT Project shares a vision that all children, youth and families reach their maximum potential in a safe and nurturing environment. The IMPACT Project embraces client and family-centered practice principles while providing an array of services that enhance the quality of life, promote security and safety for all. Every child should grow up in a safe, permanent, self-sufficient support system where the well being and needs of all are being met. The IMPACT Project attempts to invite every child to succeed and we are guided by the mantra, “Always doing what is in the best interest of the child.”

Our Mission

The IMPACT Project strives to serve the needs of dependent and delinquent youth by providing a stable, healthy and loving environment outside of the nuclear family setting. Our belief is that no unit in society, other than the family, is able to provide the special environment needed to nurture a youth to his/her fullest potential. If for a certain period of time, a youth’s own family is unable to provide these special qualities, we ask our foster families to nurture these children until a biological parent can resume their responsibility or a permanent home can be found. Foster parents must have compassion, show commitment and faith in the dignity and worth of all children and be willing to work closely with IMPACT and the placing county in order to develop and execute a specialized treatment plan for each youth in care. We are able to achieve this mission by providing highly intensive and specialized case management and clinical services to the youth placed with our agency which assists them in growing emotionally, socially and physically. We also recruit, train and license supportive foster families who are dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child in need.

"Pulling together the pieces of a child's fragmented world."
